The Moment That Changed the Direction of My Life
I currently work as a game animator.
But this was not the path I originally chose.
In the past,
I made decisions based purely on money.
Higher income, faster results.
Following that logic,
I gradually moved into environments
that were more intense and demanding.
Strangely,
while my income was increasing,
my quality of life
and mental state
were getting worse.
At some point,
a thought came to me:
“It would be such a waste to live like this and die.”
I was 30 years old at the time.
That moment became a turning point.
Instead of continuing on the same path,
I chose a completely different direction.
At the time,
I had no idea what the outcome would be.
There was uncertainty,
and there was fear.
But looking back now,
that decision changed my life completely.
I am living a completely different life,
and the way I think has also changed.
At that time, I didn’t realize it.
But now, I know clearly.
That was the moment I stepped onto a different track.
Life may not be a single fixed path,
but a structure of multiple possibilities.
And at certain moments,
we choose one of them.
What matters is not making the perfect choice,
but having the courage
to choose a different direction.
