A Way of Living I Have Chosen
There is one principle
I have carried with me for a long time.
“I give what I want to receive.”
Whatever it may be,
I choose to give only
what I want to receive in return.
If I want love,
I give love first.
If I want respect,
I give respect first.
And if I give negativity,
that is what will eventually return.
This is not just an exchange of emotions.
It feels more like a flow.
The only difference
is timing.
Some things return immediately.
Others take time.
It may take a year,
or even ten years.
Just because something
does not return right away
does not mean it won’t.
With that understanding,
I continue to give
what I want to receive.
Over time,
I began to notice something.
The people around me changed.
Only those
with a similar direction remained.
And slowly,
I found myself receiving
what I had been giving.
Of course,
life still brings challenges
and unexpected problems.
But even in those moments,
I remind myself:
This life is like a story,
and I am the main character.
Even this problem
is part of the process,
and it will eventually be resolved.
The moment I realize that,
I step out of the emotion.
We may not be able
to step completely out of this flow.
But we can choose
the direction we move in.
And so,
I continue to observe,
adjust, and move—
toward the life I want to experience.
